Education
Through education, the Boardman RFPD helps our citizens to understand how to be safe around fire, on the road, and throughout our lives. When you understand what is safe and why it is safe, you can understand the second phase of keeping you safe.
Prevention
Once you've been educated, you can, in cooperation with the Boardman RFPD, prevent accidents and fires. The easiest emergency for us to manage is the one that never happens. When we all do our part the need for emergency service is reduced.
Suppression/Mitigation
Even the best laid plans aren't fool proof. Even with proper education and steadfast prevention, occasionally emergencies happen. When they do, the highly skilled and trained volunteer personnel of the Boardman RFPD spring into action. Rushing to your aid in your time of greatest need. When you call, we'll be there.

Volunteers Needed
The Boardman RFPD is a volunteer organization. We have openings for firefighters, future firefighters in training (FFIT), and Fire Corps volunteers. If you have the drive, the desire, and the heart then click here to learn more and to volunteer.
